"I have several vacancies on Boards and Commissions to fill. Could you, please, send an email to your members and see if any of them, or PEOPLE THEY KNOW are interested in serving? If so, ask them to call or email me and I will answer any questions. I need resumes (one page, very short) to go with the nomination to the BOS. We are appointing on 5-21, so I would need to know
by the previous Thursday (5-17)

-Sign Task Force ( developing a policy and changes to laws and ordinances to curb those Weight Loss signs and such. Short term, should finish their work by September, meets once a month) No term limit, should by September

-Criminal Justice Advisory Board (meets once a month and makes fiscal and personnel and policy recommendations to BOS regarding Public Safety (courts, police and sheriff) No term limit, serves at pleasure of BOS member.

-Fairfax Area Disability Services Board (meets once a month and makes rules regarding services to disabled and recommends various things to the BOS for action) Three year term

-Child Care Advisory Council (meets once a month and advises the BOS and the Office for Children on programs and polices related to child care.)Term is two years.
